To be the unique jury member for a selection of photographs is a quite heavy responsibility.
Having to impose my own subjectivity on a multitude of propositions created by so many other subjectivities can only recover from injustice, even from dictatorship. I am very sorry for the unfortunates condemned to my images guillotine. They can console because they will know how to find somewhere else other welcoming glances.
